Adonit Jot Script 2 is built using the simplest technologies and they perfectly work with any touchscreen device. They are much compact and include a great design so that you can carry them proudly in any business meetings or conferences. You can easily pair it with your touch screen device and the stylus to deliver complete accuracy.

The Technology

Adonit Jot Script 2 is constructed using the Pixelpoint technology, which is included inside a 1.9mm tip. This technology shrank the stylus tip to 1.9mm which is 70% smaller than the other styluses. It makes the stylus work like a digital pen which gives you the real feel of writing with a crayon or ink pen. The tip of the stylus is imitated with a pen and is united with the Pixelpoint technology to deliver more control and make an impression every time you write with it.  Its fine pointed tip delivers digital and artistic strokes with improved accuracy and fine mechanism. Meanwhile, its antenna delivers the accurate lines and strokes and that brings out a natural and fine result. Adonit’s Pixelpoint technology finely works with Bluetooth LE, accelerometer data and the iPad’s capacitive touchscreen and it flawlessly puts the strokes right under the stylus tip.

Design

Adonit Jot Script 2 is built using a slimmer barrel for smooth feel and functionality that aims to provide a fluidly writing experience. It is perfectly crafted for note-taking and supports better palm rejection to put your hand to rest so that you can comfortably write on the touchscreen device. The body is crafted with fine quality aluminium that’s much lighter. The body dimensions are 140mm and 5.5-inches that look mostly similar to the standard size of a pen. Its body prevents your fingers from slipping off and grips it tightly. The slimmer size of the stylus is much comfortable to hold, whereas the thicker one is a little bit heavier. Jot Script 2’s 1.9mm tip is the smallest stylus tip till now and it brings the results more accurate.

Power

Adonit Jot Script 2 brings a charging pad along with it that holds the stylus upright while charging. The charging pad holds the stylus using a magnetic connection that prevents it from falling down. The USB dongle, which is integrated with the charging pad, is small and compact enough to be carried in your pocket or a small pouch. Jot Script 2 consists of a rechargeable battery that provides powerful battery life to your device depending on the model. It could last a week if taken regular notes, or a month if notes are taken occasionally. The stylus takes nearly 50 minutes to charge completely and its battery status can be checked using the Penultimate app. Jot Script 2 requires Bluetooth 4.0 for full functionality so it might not work with the older versions of iPad.

How Adonit Jot Script 2 works?

The touchscreen devices emit a gesture from the device edges that forms a grid across the screen. With the Pixelpoint technology, the stylus detects and connects to the signal and tells the device where the contact appeared on the grid. Mostly the iOS devices ignore the normal stylus and accidental touches, but because of Pixelpoint technology, the iPad easily recognizes the Jot Script 2 touch.
