Onkyo has just launched an AV receiver designed for stereo music lovers everywhere. The Onkyo TX-8050 is the company’s first DLNA-compatible stereo network receiver. This AV receiver supports a wide range of connections, even the latest connections. Available with a full-function remote control, this network receiver can be used to send out music to another room that has an amplifier and a pair of speakers.
With no drawback to be the best AV receiver in the market, the TX-8050 comes in a distinct-component amplifier design that is rated at 80 watts (FTC) per channel. Among its connectivity ports, the Onkyo TX-8050 offers a front-panel headphone jack, IR input/output, A/B speaker outputs and Zone 2 pre-outs. Among the devices that can be connected to this AV receiver are turntable, AM/FM, audio recorder and AV sources. A CD player can be connected as well using its analog or optical/coaxial digital connections.
The Onkyo TX-8050 network receiver allows users to connect their iPhones and iPads through its front-panel USB port. With a price tag of almost $400, the TX-8050 has an Ethernet jack that allows the device to stream internet radio or even audio from a computer or from other networks. With an Ethernet jack present on the TX-8050, users can have access to a range of Internet streaming services like Pandora, Rhapsody, Napster, SIRIUS XM Internet Radio, Slacker, Last.fm, Mediafly, and vTuner. It is not wrong to state Onkyo makes the best AV receivers around. This might be as Onkyo makes an effort to keep its products up to date thus giving its customers no reason to look elsewhere. Certified with Windows 7 and DLNA Version 1.5, the Onkyo TX-8050 will be available in April.
