The tablet was released in January 2015 and it runs on Windows 8.1. In fact, this tablet is a good alternative for your laptop or notebook and can be easily carried everywhere. Display and Dimension
Having a 10.10-inch display screen and a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, with a pixel density of 149PPI, the display of Swipe Ultimate 3G offers 178-degree viewing angle. The device has smooth touching gestures and the screen is protected with scratch resistant and protective glass. There is a Windows touch button at the bottom of the screen, which is the home button of the device.
Its dimensions are 256.40 x 171.00 x 9.50 mm and it weighs only 580 gm.
Hardware
Swipe Ultimate 3G consists of a plastic back cover for a better grip that prevents it from falling off your hands. There are several ports on the right side including the micro USB slot, 5V DC charging port, mini HDMI port, micro SIM and microSD card slots. On the left, there is a 3.5mm audio jack and full USB 3.0 slot. You can use other accessories like the pen drive or USB mouse or keyboard in it. The power button and volume up/down buttons are found on the upper side.
Processor and Memory
The tablet runs on 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735D processor with Intel HD graphics integrated. It has 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory (23.5GB usable) with microSD support upto 32GB. You’ll get 1 year Office 365 subscription free that will occupy more internal space, means you’ll get approximately 20GB free space.
Camera
Swipe Ultimate 3G tablet has camera on the both sides. The rear camera is 5MP but it lacks flash which is one of the major disadvantages. The absence of flash might affects the night shots and the shots taken at interior locations. But it takes decent images in daylight. The front camera is 2MP which is basically fair for taking selfies. The camera also has a video recording feature which can be used by swiping from the left to right. You can record videos at 1080p full HD resolution. The images and videos will not carry much detail due to the absence of flash and less megapixel.
OS
Swipe Ultimate 3G operates on Windows 8.1, sadly limited to 32-bit and can be upgraded to Windows 10, when releases later this year. It comes with Microsoft’s popular search engine, Bing and loads of pre-installed apps. The tablet also comes with an extra keyboard and trackpad so that you can use it as a laptop. Swipe is not offering any security suite with the tablet.
Connectivity
The device offers all the basic tools for connectivity including WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, FM and 3G. Unfortunately it lacks the rest of the tools such as NFC, Infrared, WiFi Direct, HDMI, Voice calling and Stylus. You can use the micro SIM with GSM but sadly the voice calling feature will not work.
Swipe Ultimate 3G tablet consists of all the major sensors- Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor, but the Gyroscope, Barometer and Temperature sensor is missing.
Battery
Swipe Ultimate 3G tab has a battery capacity of 7000mAh which is non- removable. It offers 6 to 7 hours of regular battery life through which you can use 3G, browse the internet and use audio/video players. You can also charge it via micro USB charger or proprietary charger.
Audio and Video playback
There is an in-built music player in the tablet that allows you to listen to music of all formats. You can also use third-party music players from the Windows Store. The stereo delivers average to good quality sound. Unfortunately, Swipe is not offering any headphones in the box but any compatible earphones will deliver good audio quality. The Windows Media Player comes pre-installed and plays 1080p videos. The videos play smoothly but due to its low resolution display the videos are of average quality and not impressive enough. Playing 4K videos will not work smoothly because its processor cannot manage it.

Overall, the tablet is good for light and basic usage. The number of connectivity tools will keep you satisfied, especially the 3G and USB 3.0. As a basic Windows tablet, it can be used by students as well as professionals who are not hardcore users. The keyboard offers you smooth typing option and you don’t need to use the touchscreen every time, especially users who are habituated with keyboard typing. You can carry it inside your purse and it is not at all bulky.
Regarding the operating system, people who find Android complicated can very well move on with the Windows tablet. Since Windows is universally used by everyone, it won’t be a problem to use it in the tablet and you’ll find it quite friendly.
